Image
Olajumoke Orisaguna is no doubt one of the hottest new models. She reveals that her life has quite changed from how it used to be. “My lifestyle has changed. I am looking healthier, living healthier; I have more things to be thankful for,” the new model said, adding, “I have a lot of clothes, not just clothes but fashionable ones. I eat better things. People have been helping us from right, left and centre.” However, she maintains that she is still the same Olajumoke who struggled to make ends meet and support her family. “I am still the same Jumoke people know. The same Jumoke people knew in Osun state is the same as the Jumoke speaking with you right now, but the story of my life has changed.” Notably, the mum of two daughters has not changed one aspect of her life, keeping friends. “I don’t have friends now. My husband and my children are my friends now,” she said. “Even while in Osun state, I didn’t keep friends. I don’t like going to a friend’s house to gossip a

Oba Of Benin: Panic and Fear Over Traditional Rituals

Image
There was tension within the Benin metropolis and adjoining towns yesterday, following the announcement of the death of the Oba of Benin Kingdom, HRM Oba Erediauwa by the palace chiefs on Friday. Many residents, especially women as well as visitors, remained indoors for fear of being used as sacrifice, following rumours of traditional burial rites that may include human heads. Markets in Benin remained closed yesterday as mourning of the deceased Oba began. When LEADERSHIP Sunday went around the metropolis yesterday, it was found that the popular New Benin Market and similar markets were closed just as operators of other business outlets closed their shops ahead of the normal closing hours in the day. Some of them were seen hurriedly locking up their shops around evening, not wanting to be outside at dusk. Popular relaxation spots in the metropolis were also closed for business. A palace source however told LEADERSHIP Sunday that the apprehension was

A visiting Venezuelan search team located Manuel Vasquez, who had been trapped under rubble since the 7.8-magnitude quake that killed 660 people , the Venezuelan embassy in Quito said on its website. Zuma now faces criminal charges

Image
JOHANNEBSURG - President Jacob Zuma 74, may be under increasing pressure from opposition parties to step down but he is not going without a fight. In spite of the knock to his public image, he still has a place in the hearts of many in South Africa. Recall that The ruling ANC secured a huge victory in the 2014 election - many of the votes coming from rural South Africa where these court battles have little influence and Mr Zuma knows that. Meanwhile,   opposition attempt to impeach him earlier this month failed because they simply do not have the numbers. The arms deal battle:  Legal experts say today’s High Court in Pretoria ruling that the decision to withdraw corruption charges against President Jacob Zuma means those charges have automatically been reinstated and thus the president of the country currently faces criminal charges . But the African National Congress (ANC) and supporters of Zuma disagree, saying he’ll only face criminal charges when and if the National Prosec

Nigeria ex-MP sentenced to 154 years for corruption

Image
A court in Nigeria has sentenced a former local MP to 154 years in jail for corruption and money laundering. Gabriel Daudu, from central Kogi State, was found guilty of 77 charges, Nigeria's anti- corruption body says. But the judge ruled that the sentences would run concurrently, meaning Dauda will only spend two years in jail. The EFCC says Mr Daudu, who was put on trial in 2010, was involved in laundering about $7m (£5m). Delivering the judgement in Kogi state capital, Lokoja, Justice Inyang Ekwo said the persecution had "proved its case beyond every reasonable doubt", the EFCC said in a statement. It is not immediately clear whether Dauda will appeal against the ruling and whether any of the stolen money was recovered.

The video concludes with the woman returning to carry on with her job. She can be seen preparing food in the background. Image
The General Superintendent of Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor W.F Kumuyi has warned his members that hell will be hotter than normal for them. In his sermon, the father of two sons made it known that Deeper Life members have heard enough of God’s word and opportunity to repent, therefore, those who eventually do not make it to heaven will have the hottest part of Hell Fire reserved for them. This, he emphasized while preaching the sermon; “Heaven’s Response to Earth’s Request,” in Lagos. “Hell will be hotter for Deeper Life sinners because they know the truth and do not do them. Turn away from your secret sins; I don’t know how you can be in a church like this and there is fornication, adultery, lying and others in your hand. Seven Hindrances To Abundant Harvest

Image
Hi, Jesus loves you What can stop your abundant harvest after you have planted your seeds? Have you ever planted and reaped little? It is not enough to just sow for you to reap a harvest. There are other factors to consider if you want a bountiful harvest. This article lists things to watch out for if you are to receive a great return. But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully – 2 Corinthians 9:6 It is God’s heart desire to bless us abundantly. But like a farmer, abundant harvest neither comes by wishing it nor by scattering seeds without focus. A farmer diligently prepares for a bountiful harvest by the conscious steps he takes. He watches out for any hindrance to his desired returns and takes care of them. Do you desire great returns? Then watch out for the following hindrances: Hindrances to abundant harvest 1. No or insufficient planted seeds: Seeds stored and
